Gary has lived and worked in Bellingham, Washington and Whatcom County since 1996. He began his career in the financial services industry in 1988 while attending Washington State University, where he attained his degree in Business Administration (Finance Emphasis). Since that time Gary has worked as Vice President for large commercial banks including US Bank, Key Bank as well as smaller community banks. Gary has a comprehensive lending background, including commercial mortgages, commercial lending, business banking, residential mortgages and personal finance.

Heidi brings 20 years of experience in real estate and finance to Hyak Financial. Her education includes a B.A. in Business Administration with emphasis in Real Estate and Finance. Heidi earned her real estate sales license while attending Washington State University and worked in that field during her summer breaks. She later became a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser and appraised both residential and commercial real estate. Heidi manages our operations and marketing.

John brings more than 31 years of banking experience to Hyak Financial. Prior to joining Hyak Financial, John spent 18 years working as Vice President commercial loan officer in the Skagit Valley. John has extensive experience in all types of commercial real estate lending including multi family, owner occupied, non owner occupied and land development. John has a thorough understanding of the SBA 504 and SBA 7A programs and will spend the time to understand and identify the required financial information to determine the viability of your loan request.

Graham began his career in finance and sales 20 years ago upon finishing his degree at Western Washington University. He has received multiple awards over this time. His primary focus over the last 15 years is complete banking services. Cash management, Merchant services, factoring, working capital, and equipment loans. In addition he is trained in home mortgage and commercial property. Although he can help with all your financial needs his focus is investment properties. Graham can use his connections throughout the United States to find the right loan for you.
Graham enjoys spending time with his kids doing various activities such as skiing, cycling, running, and hiking. He coaches basketball and soccer and was on the board for the Boys and Girls Club for over 15 years.
